Have A Go evening

The Bramshott and Liphook Art and Craft Society started the year with a Have A Go evening.  I was invited to run one of the experiences – Abstract Acrylic.  I brought along my selection of palette knives (or rather painting knives as palette knives are flat and are used for mixing the paint on the palette). We worked with the primary colours of red yellow and blue and added black and white to create wonderfully varied artwork.  Taking away the need to create something recognisable means one can concentrate on the paints and the different ways to use the palette knife and then see what evolves.  I think everyone was delighted with the results.
